• ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS (IN-PERSON IN WINDSOR AND ONLINE) -

Meet Alexis! She moved to Amherstburg from California when she was seven and have been grateful to call this community home ever since. She graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Bachelor of Social Work in 2019 and went on to complete her Master of Social Work in 2024.

Throughout her studies and career, she has had the privilege of working in diverse care settings. She interned at a hospice facility in Toronto—a deeply meaningful experience that strengthened her dedication to compassionate care. Before that, she worked at Assisted Living of Southwestern Ontario and Richmond Terrace Nursing Home, both of which shaped her passion for advocacy and supporting individuals across all stages of life.

Most recently, she gained valuable experience at the non-profit organization, BANA, where she worked with youth and adults navigating eating disorders. She draws from a trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive practice, with a variety of evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, SFT, and more.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the close-knit spirit of the Amherstburg community that she is so fortunate to be part of.
